We're All In What Together?

So when the CDC publishes a report stating that have no evidence that masks actually work to protect us from a virus with a 97- 99.75% recovery rate, it means we should all continue to wear masks and shame those who don't? Refuse service to those who are classified as exempt (read: engage in legalized discrimination)? Turn all retail workers into border patrol agents?

But, we're all in this together?

What exactly is "this" that "we" are in?

Let’s reason, shall we?

If this virus is so dangerous, where are the bio-hazard receptacles? It's worse than having a dirty needle, so how should I dispose of my potentially contaminated mask? Where is the 3-to-1 bleach solution required by Universal Precautions? Why are we still seeing new cases after months of sterile lock-down? When has the government ever "cared" this much about our health (at the expense of our children, our money and our mental health, nonetheless)? Why did a "two-week help the medical community from getting overwhelmed" voluntary stay-at-home plan turn into an exercise in government-inspired social conformity?

If you can logically, without quoting the media, answer these questions, I'd like to know. And while we're on the subject of the media, do you know who owns the media outlets ... who controls exactly which "news" is reported- and with what angle, intensity, and frequency? Why haven’t we heard that more than 28 million people worldwide have RECOVERED?  Why are we constantly bombarded with only the deaths? People die from lots of other things. Why aren’t all of those deaths being featured on the human-interest segments?  What’s the pay-off? Who’s benefiting?

And mostly, why aren't more people screaming "What's happening?!?!?!?!"

Ask questions, friends.  Ask lots of questions. - M
